To take part, you'll need:

  • A console (XBox or PlayStation - see Competition Structure page for details)
  • A copy of FIFA21 (Disc or digital - see Competition Structure page for details)
  • A PlayStation Plus or XBOX Live account (Essential)
  • A Discord account (Essential, for competition/participant communication)
  • A Twitch account (Highly recommended, so you can share recorded match highlights and have the potential to be streamed as a feature match)

This tournament is for members of the Victorian Football & Futsal community - current players, officials, referees or administrators.

Squad Type: Overall 90 - Players can chose any club or country for any of their games. Round of 32 will be our feature Female Football Round. All participants are to select a national women's team for this stage of the tournament.

Each player will be sent an email to access their individual portal with a list of their games and opponents.

Competition Structure.

  • Entry is FREE.
  • Qualifying groups are in a ladder formal - you’ll play each team in your group once
  • The competition will be divided into Under-16s and Open for each console.
  • FV will publish fixtures on our website shortly after the close of registrations.   
  • Each player will be sent an email to access their individual portal with a list of their games and opponents.  

Final placing of players after pool games is decided by applying the following:

  • Most points
  • Best Goal Difference
  • Most Goals For
  • Least Goals Against
  • Points head to head

If all of the above is equal, then a penalty shootout will take place to determine the victor.

Round of 32 - Female Football Round

Football Victory is committed to gender equality and promoting the female game. For the Round of 32, it will be mandatory for players to compete using women's national teams.

Finals Series

The finals series will take on a BO2 format elimination format.

Scheduling Games

All games will need to be scheduled by the home team. 

Players will have to communicate with each other via the console online platform using their PSN/Xbox Live ID to arrange a mutually suitable time to play the game. Both players are responsible to make contact, not just the home team.

The “home team” will be responsible for updating the portal with the mutually agreed game date and time.

Reporting Results

The “home team” will be responsible for updating the portal with the game result and upload a screenshot showing the end-result using the “UPLOAD REPORT” button.

Group games need to be played by the 19th of September. Any games that do not have results entered will be set to 0-0 draws, unless:

  • The failure to complete the match is not the fault of one competitor in which case a forfeit will be entered for the other team; or
  • The failure to complete the match is deemed not to be the fault of either competitor, at the discretion of Esports Live staff, in which case an extension of time may be allowed in order to complete the match.

In the event of a draw:

Group Games: End in draw.

Finals: Teams rematch and the first goal to be scored will be deemed as the Golden Goal.


*The result of any games that are not played under the conditions above will be deemed ineligible.
